Hideto (Hyde) Matsudo
Hideto is originally from Okinawa, Japan. He moved to New Zealand in 2001 to study, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting from the University of Auckland.
He started his career with a second-tier Chartered Accountancy firm in 2008. He is a founder and director of Toroma Limited with over 15 years of experience.
Hideto provides various services to local and international clients, in both English and Japanese, such as:
New Zealand taxation and international taxation advice including Double Tax Agreements between New Zealand and other countries, and tax residency.
Tax planning and business structuring advice.
Compliance services to meet the financial reporting and taxation requirements in New Zealand.
Start-up services including new company incorporations and the setting up of accounting systems.

The Society is the organiser of the annual Auckland Japan Day which is the biggest Japanese themed public event held in New Zealand.

Hideto is also one of the founding members and the leader of the Japanese Business Club New Zealand (JBCNZ). JBCNZ provides networking opportunities for its members, allowing them to discuss business opportunities and challenges within their respective businesses.
